While there are goals from Cabella and de Jong on paper, I doubt they would risk relying on one-goal-in-three-games players new to the league plus the current version Cisse to ensure our Premier League safety. With both Cabella and de Jong needing time to adjust to the PL it would be foolish in the extreme to rely on them for our goals and neither are actual strikers. A decent goalscorer is a must. For what it's worth I think we have done some good business, 6 players over that line when they were threatening to only sign 1 or 2 a year is good work. Maybe debatable the quality of some of those players but put into context I think we look stronger than last season if we can only get another Striker after Riviere and hopefully a defensive option. Depending on whether we decide to keep MYM, Fatim and Marv we could have quite a decent squad, albeit it with a complete bellend in charge of them.
