Figures 1-0 Football
He'll not get any game time at any big club as he is nowhere near the finished product yet. A move now and will ruin his career and rot on the bench. May as well stay with us and potentially play a big part in our season. However, he seems to be made out of play-doh so he'll probably be injured all season.

Ashley17
Cracking goal mind. ..and assist for Janmaats He looked absolutely fucking rapid on the build up to Janmaat's goal, don't know if I was just caught up in the madness but didn't realise how quick he was
HawK
Cracking goal mind. ..and assist for Janmaats He looked absolutely f***ing rapid on the build up to Janmaat's goal, don't know if I was just caught up in the madness but didn't realise how quick he was Do remember he's normally rapid, but sprinting up the pitch in the 86th minute vs tired legs would make him look even faster. Bimpy474
As usual with one of our players, needs to stay fit. Seems like i've been thinking that for 20 years now.

Altamullan
I remember, after a generally disappointing pre-season, being certain that this lad would break through and have a great season... not quite correct (as ever) but good to see him come on, play well, and score today. He could be brilliant under Rafa if he manages to stay free of injury.

St1pe
I hope he stays but I can see him leaving to be honest. A year of first team football in the Championship would probably be ideal for him, especially if he does well and we get promoted. I can definitely see him looking for more money somewhere and sitting on the bench of a Premier League team though.
Thomson Mouse
Why hasn't he got a new contract? Could they not agree on the terms or was he not offered one? Can't remember.

Assist too for Janmaat. Same net contribution as Mitrovic in much less time

TRon
Club have confirmed to Mark Douglas (Chronicle, Journal & Sunday Sun) that he's not out of contract this summer. It could be a breakthrough season for him next time round. He'll probably get a lot more starts in the championship, especially if Sissoko leaves. Disco
Hope he stays here and can stay fit next season. Love players like him Heard varying reports about his personality but the very best thing he could do is get a large quantity of first-team football under his belt. Figures 1-0 Football
Would be more than happy for him to be one of the first names on the teamsheet next season. Providing he stays fit, the prospect of him and Townsend on the wings is great news.
54
After bagging his first goal of the campaign in the 5-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, Rolando Aarons says the end of the season couldn't have come at a worse time for him. The 20-year-old winger came on for Georginio Wijnaldum with just under quarter of an hour left at St. James' Park, and he immediately made his presence felt. Aarons lashed in the Magpies' fourth goal of the afternoon in front of the Gallowgate End before breaking away and laying on the fifth for full back Daryl Janmaat. And the England under-21 international is ruing the end of the campaign coming just as he is getting into his stride under manager Rafa Benitez. "I've found it very tough to get opportunities, and obviously I've waited until the last game of the season, but I love playing for Newcastle. I love scoring goals. It's what I love doing," Aarons told nufc.co.uk. "I'm gutted now the season's finished, but I can't wait to start playing football regularly. "I've been waiting for my opportunity to come on and show what I can do, but I haven't really got the opportunity in that position this season through injuries. I'm happy to score and assist, because that's what I love doing. I love playing further forward." Sunday's victory over Mauricio Pochettino's side extended United's unbeaten run to six games. Benitez's men repeatedly carved open a Spurs outfit who, before Sunday, boasted the best defensive record in the top flight. And Aarons believes that Newcastle showed just what they are capable of at the weekend, and insists that they stand a good chance of bouncing straight back up. "Especially in the situation, we needed to end well, and I think everyone's really given it a go (on Sunday). We showed why maybe we could bounce straight back next year, and hopefully we do," he said. "I think we've been very unlucky to get relegated - I think we just came into form at the wrong time in the season. Obviously, it hasn't been enough for us. I think we'll bounce straight back next season - you can see from performances like Sunday that we're a good team. "Players like Andros, Gini and Mitro - the front three that started (against Tottenham) - you can see the quality that they bring the team, and hopefully they stick around next season to get us back up."
