We tried to steal Tottenhams version of Oh when the mags , but doesnt work as people just dive straight in , and sing it normally.

I'd rather sing the Blaydon Races a lot slower, then dive in with a quick chorus

It's ok for us who know the song and verses , but eople arent willing to learn it.

I would love an anthem we could sing , where the opposing fans would boo like we do to Man city = Blue Moon , Liverpool = YNWA , West Ham = Forever Blowing Bubbles etc . .

To the tune of 'Yellow Submarine' :

In the town, called Sunderland,

There lived a man with a monkey's heid,

And they called him Peter Reid,

He peels bananas with his feet,

Peter Reid peels bananas with his feet,

Bananas with his feet, Bananas with his feet..

28 years, you know its right

The last time we lost on Wearside

It's been a long time

Since that day

So we'll sing them a song that they f***ing hate

28 years

28 years

28 years

28 years...

We all hate Sun-lan'

We all hate Sun-lan'

We all hate Sun-lan'

We all hate Sun-lan'...

...and you posted that today because??? Were you asleep yesterday?

That was posted today... yet you didn't say anything to him, or the other 2 replies...

I posted it because potentially it could be a good song to sing, because the meaning of the song is 28 years. Yes it might be late 'cos we played and lost to them yesterday, but with abit modifying or something, we could sing it about the 28 year gap between them beating us on Wearside.

And we do play them in January.

The Sunderland train came over the hill, the wheels fell off, they all got killed
