This stadium will very likely hold a World Cup Final so it's pretty significant.
54
If we lived in a parallel universe with a owner who actually gave a shit, and they submitted plans to build a new stadium on the edge of Newcastle, would you guy be for or against it?

That would be terrible.
Altamullan
Been down that road to some extent. Prior to re-development they floated the idea of a stadium in Gateshead (banks of Tyne, iirc). Not many takers. Even though it looks very different, as does (increasing) the surrounding area, would be tough to take loss of heritage that comes with current home. sbnufc
The footprint of the new White Hart Lane shows how massive it's gonna be (in comparison to the old stadium). It'll be a monster You can see it clearly in this vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=krUz7uN1OBQ It'll go from the far left, to the road on the far right. Huge compared to the current stadium

nufcjb
New Udinese, Dacia Arena: Is this a completely new ground or the one that had running tracks around the pitch?
Disco
New Udinese, Dacia Arena: Is this a completely new ground or the one that had running tracks around the pitch? Main stand is from the old ground with 3 new compact sides hence why it looks a bit weird.

I actually hate stadiums that do that, as it disguises how many ppl are in a stadium if it's 60-80% full.

nufcjb
Think I've read somewhere they do it so that visitors on stadium tours can have a background of a full stadium in their 'pictures'.

Greg
The roof is clearly visible on the first image. However, I think those might be concept images as they I am sure they took out the kop style end in the final design.
Deuce
Seems fairly characterless, on the inside anyway. I like the Colosseum facade.
sbnufc
Greg's right actually, the one I posted was the first design. It evolved into this which is the plan now I think http://www.tuttoasroma.it/public/img/stadi/Nuovo%20Stadio%20Roma/plastico%20stadio%20nuovo%20roma%20con%20illuminazione.jpg Looks much better
