Just bought my 10 month old son his first kit.

Got quite emotional  🫣

Class mate, I was the same a few years ago for my sons.

Also last one with the current crest on, so extra special :)

I mean aye but if the crest changes are as minimal as they are suggesting does it really matter

Just looking at the photos of the long sleeve online (club FB page).

Is that right, the long sleeve is in 3 bits... the shoulder, top of arm, and lower/forearm?

So it has two joins on it (where highlighted)?

TBH they should just provide the arms with each short sleeved shirt and some Velcro for when you want to go long sleeved.

It’s things that fans wouldn’t want or care about, things like sponsor sizes/positions depending on competition.

eg last seasons noon patch was much bigger and aligned more prominently on the worn shirts

Was it the 03-05 player issue shirt that had like a string vest thing attached to the inside?

Just checked my LS and you can even feel the stitching on the inside of the LS in two places where it has been joined.

Thinking of taking the fucker back tbh, proper amateur stuff.

Well, finally put in my order and added the new home shirt. Duties were down from 390USD to 140USD.

Still bloody high tbh.

I would’ve assumed that would just mean no sales. I never order anything from abroad with massive tax on it though.

Yes, all of those shirts had an inner shirt which a lot of the players cut out, Speed cut the cuffs and Bellamy the collar. It was also our first adidas shirt where the badge was totally different on the player versions too (Umbro had done in in the 80s/90s)

Follow on from this, I've just check this season's shirt and that has the same seam where the Noon patch is (S/S).

So it's only one additional seam I suppose...

what was the difference with the badge on that one?
