But the view was that it’s free advertising for a beer brand that they spend zero money promoting, so no downside for Heineken

Took my original '95 home shirt out of the closet this afternoon (to not wake my wife up at 6:20am tomorrow) and noticed the tag says Made in England. Were the other Adidas kits of that era? I'm assuming the new replica isn't.

Yeah there was a factory in Stockport I believe which was linked to them being made by adidas which was fairly rare in the uk back then, particularly for a smaller team.
