@M4

The Heineken Marketing bod didn’t even know that Adidas were reissuing a shirt with the Brown Ale logo on

But the view was that it’s free advertising for a beer brand that they spend zero money promoting, so no downside for Heineken

:lol:

Well thanks for thinking of asking, man.

Took my original '95 home shirt out of the closet this afternoon (to not wake my wife up at 6:20am tomorrow) and noticed the tag says Made in England. Were the other Adidas kits of that era? I'm assuming the new replica isn't.

Yeah there was a factory in Stockport I believe which was linked to them being made by adidas which was fairly rare in the uk back then, particularly for a smaller team.

Bet the club store takes a kicking today on them replicas, might even take a look myself.

Don’t forget that there is a store in Fenwick, also JD are selling them online, so their Northumberland Street store might have some in.

So we can't have a number on top of stripes, but arsenal can have a white number on a white shirt 🙄

Who said we couldn’t have numbers on top of stripes?

Difference between UEFA and FA regs. FA must be super lax given the clip of Aston Villa and Arsenal this weekend.

Nothing worth getting upset over.

Kept all my old shirts (except the yellow and green striped away one) so that's paid off as I suspected.

Unfortunately "Nico" (Papavasiliou) and "Mathie 14" dates two of them

There was a little piece about it on the last volume of the 94/95 instalment videos I believe unless it was local news on the release day. KI might have uploaded the volume.
