Some examples of Adidas being controversial with black and white stripes

Personally I don't mind a fuckin stupid kit every once in a while. Better than just re-hashing the same old same old forever. Obviously it'll be polarizing but yolo.

Saying that, I would struggle with the plaid vibes that have been mooted. Not my cup. And my preference will always be mo black than white :shifty:

Last bit of 97/98 guesswork based on designs adidas have put out for other teams recently

I'd guess it's probably going to be a darker blue. saying as the away kit is meant to be "saudi green" again. and the home one is rumoured to be primarily white.

Attempted to do a not as shit version of what this might actually look like. Very strong 05-06 feeling about it.

Provided there were at least stripes at the bottom below the number block, it would be a decent change up.

Asymmetrical barcode is a beauty.

I think having the sponsor on monochrome colours doesn’t really light up a shirt, the blue star was obviously iconic but it also gave the shirt some colour.

Sela could be blue to liven things up a bit.

I’d be happy to see a coloured trim like. Something to break it up a bit. Especially given the woke adidas got rid of the red numbers.

I don’t think making a dour sponsor like Sela into a colour is going to do much for the kit.

I suppose the mcewans looked ok in black and white as did greenalls, not sure if that’s just nostalgia or they had more interesting logos. Juve Sony/danone/ariston/upim always looked good too

Just variation innit. I like the McEwans too, cos it feels like a bit of a change up for us. Now we've had a few plain black and whiters in a row, it's time to gan ridge imo.

 All depends on the sponsor I reckon. Sela going bold is probably more likely to look nearer fun88 than brown ale.
