...and as for subbing Abeid off for Obertan what an absolute load of rubbish.

What do you mean? Spurs were hanging on for dear life as Obertan and Sammy whipped in cross after cross from their raiding wing play.  :smitten:

Totally we should have taken advantage of the way they were doubling up on Obertan.

In any case, we might not have won the match, but we won the local pride when Adam Armstrong ran out.

Did he even touch the ball when he came on? Absolutely pointless.

It's always pointless. When has it ever made any sense? To be fair it's not his fault the manager thinks a team without a midfield can play football.

Who on earth didn't see this coming? Who could have thought appointing Carver was anything other than a horrendous idea?

This is completely predictable. There's no leader on the pitch - Colo/Sissoko/Colback/whoever are all atrocious captains with no spine. There's no leader off the pitch because Carver.

So when we inevitably experienced turmoil, how were we going to handle it?

Not that any of it matters with Ashley in charge.

The irony is the money he has lost putting carver in charge to try and save some. Now they will panic and spend 4m in compensation for a pleb like Steve Clarke because he heard reading played well against arsenal.

Why are Sky praising the subs? None of them were involved in the goal.

Just to have something to talk about other than simply pointing and going 'aren't they terrible'

Everyone knows that desperately throwing more forwards on to the pitch in the vague hope that something might happen, despite having no actual plan to make things happen, is the epitome of tactical astuteness.
