Jesse Pinkman
Let's do something the club obviously isn't doing and plan for the possibility that we are relegated to the Championship. Who are the likely leavers and who will stick around? Also who would you try and get as a manger if we went down?
Disco
We'll sell anyone we can get rid of, we'll keep those who won't leave and those on low wages. They were saying on the Sunday Supplement a few of the newer players don't have relegation clauses in their contract which'd be funny and typically blasé of the shitbags. Guest DebuchyAndTheBeast
Darlow Taylor - Lacelles - Dummett - Haidara Colback - Anita Obertan - Gouffran - Ameobi Armstrong Starting Armstrong upfront on his own in a league more physical than the PL? We had Shola and Carroll the last time who complemented Lovenkrands and Harewood . Who do we have as a big striker this time?
thenige
Vuckic coukd come back and be number 10. Think he'd do alright in the Championship for us to be fair. What excitement to look forward to.
morla84
One of the good things about having a squad full of championship standard players is that we won't need to make many changes. Perhaps it is the plan after all
Guest Gino14
More important than the squad is who is in charge of it. If Carver sticks around we'll be next seasons Blackpool. When you consider how many of our lot will be on the first bus out of town after the season finished, we'll probably have the same amount of players as well. Ketsbaia
As well as Dummett, Haidara, Colback, Abeid and the Forest lads, I reckon we can realistically keep Ayoze and Riviere. For the sake of numbers, we might have to keep Obertan and Sammy too. Not sure what'll happen with Cabella, though.

They should have learned their lesson from last time. It should be a no brainer for any contract negotiation that we do. First it protects us financially if we go down and secondly adds more motivation to the player to stay up.
DJ_NUFC
Is it bad that I don't want to see Obertan, Gouffran or Ryan Taylor even if we get relegated? Isn't the whole point of wishing for a relegation to get rid of such fucking absolute garbage from our club?

St1pe
I think someone would definitely take Cabella and I've got a feeling after a year getting a feel for the league if he made the right move he could do very well. Surely Everton or Southampton would be interesting in taking him for what would probably be half of what we paid? Perez, Armstrong and Riviere wouldn't be the worst striking options for that league either. We'd still need about 4 defenders and someone who could play as a right winger. DJ_NUFC
I doubt Riv would break his duck in the Championship either. Perez would smoke that league.

captainhaircut
I wonder if De Jong would stay. I'm sure he'd be in demand but he seems a bit honourable and may feel he owes us something. Obviously his wages may prove prohibitive but we kept Enrique, Colo, Nolan, Barton and Jonas last time we went down. A team like the below would be very competitive and would still allow for plenty of money to be made via Krul, Janmaat, Tiote, Sissoko, Anita and Cisse. Darlow RIGHT BACK Taylor/Lascelles CENTRE BACK Dummett/Haidara Abeid Colback De Jong Perez/Cabella Aarons STRIKER
