James
Has to go to Eddie Howe really, despite his age. lnexperience and rapid success makes him a favourite as he has had less time in management to be corrupted but otherwise has Proven he has some capability. joeyt
Unless Bruce is found guilty he won't be ruled out It is a pattern of England recruitment in recent years, plus many other managerial appointments not to turn towards something similar. Bruce as an old guard PFM is too similar. There is risk too of further stings and controversies down the line. So even if Bruce is innocent the FA will go with someone whose CV doesn't look like they have any dirty laundry behind the sofa waiting to be found by the press. What's on Steve Bruce's CV that may suggest he's got some dirty laundry? Just because he's managed a lot of average PL/Championship clubs? Allardyce and Redknapp have always had allegations surrounding them but I'm pretty sure Bruce has never had anything dodgy about him except his nose and always employing his son. I might be missing something obvious but I can't remember any allegations against him
Ronaldo
Howe or Hoddle if it has to be an English manager. It shouldn't be, though. Frankly it can't be, if we want to get somewhere.
Marmoset
Howe should be the guy after the next guy. Needs more experience imo.

Telegraph has dirt on over ten high profile managers involved in English football. Once all these come out it is going to be hard for the FA to look at any of the old guard, purely from the risk of association regardless of whether they are found to be clean. Mole_Toonfan
Has to go to Eddie Howe really, despite his age. I wonder if he would take the job though, international management is not really for the younger manager as you are doing fuck all most of the time. Disco
He'd be absolutely mental to take it. He's very much a training ground / intensive workload manager. It'd ruin him.

Probably true like, would avoid it like the plague if I were him. He might not get a better chance for the rest of his career though.

I maintain that he won't be ruled out just because he's been around English football for a long time. He may not get the job but I doubt the FA will rule him out immediately considering he's done nothing suspicious in his career as far as I'm aware, providing he's not one of the named managers . Who knows, one of the 10 high profile managers could be Eddie Howe

Guest Open_C
FA will be buying a place in Spain with the money they're saving on sacking him. They'll call it "Casa Corruption".
James
Didn't Allardyce boast of the house in Spain he bought with his Newcastle payoff. By agreeing to resign I'm sure the FA will have bought him another house.

WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Fast forward to the 2018 World Cup Final. England score a last-minute winner to break more than 50 years of hurt. The nation has a new hero. http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2016/05/28/21/34B9597400000578-3614402-image-a-82_1464466574696.jpg It's time.

AyeDubbleYoo
Funnily enough I wouldn't have Pardew down as dodgy, his self-image wouldn't allow it.
Ryan
What a muppet Allardyce is. Please not Pardew, I want to start taking a slight interest in England games again.
Guest Open_C
I'm not actually interested in Sam or England very much at all, but this is still oddly F5-worthy stuff, almost Pardew to Palace levels of compulsion
