Far too many safe options taken. Seems to only be Kane now with any kind of directness. Can’t believe no one has told Grealish to do his full back a favour and take more than one touch with his weaker foot.

Bellingham, where possible and without hindering his development with too many games played, should play. JWP happy to watch and not participate.

The lad Gnonto who's come on for Italy is only 18 and has won 3 caps already. Yet he plays for FC Zurich.

You can't imagine him staying in that league very long if he's making the national team already

If we could harness the collective shrug to the national grid when the presenter said if we get relegated we'd be unable to compete for the Nations league final it could provide an answer to the energy crisis.

Absolutely dreadful to watch, turgid rubbish from start to finish. 1 goal, from a pen, in 4 and a half hours is just not acceptable from a spectator pov. There's virtually zero ambition in the play

Shock, as exhausted half-arsed players playing pointless end of season match in front of juveniles deliver performance fitting of the occasion. If this isn't the time to draw conclusions about our  past performances in entirely different circumstances as well as our future World Cup aspirations, when is? #worried

Southgate’s strength has been raising the morale of the squad, he isn’t good at any other aspect of being a manager. That reaction from the squad is only going to last so long and it does feel like it’s died out. I’m not expecting the WC to go well, they had their chance. The question is can they avoid being humiliated by our piss weak group?
