It was such a dumb tackle, there didn't seem to be any malice to it, just pure stupidity. He clearly deliberately forced his studs down on Messi's knee. Been checking the replays on that y site. But haven't really seen it from an angle where he forced his knee. It was a straight red without a shadow of a doubt. But from the angles I've seen it didn't seem like he forced anything. Anyways, I'll leve it at that.
