The College Dropout
Legitimate question - do crowds in Brazil, Germany, France or Spain react like that? What happened? Stones dribbling near his box in a tightish situation. Crowd yelling at him to simply clear it. He completes the dribble and passes it to a blue shirt rather calmly in the end. Looked annoyed by the crowd - of course they where making things more difficult for him than if they just shut up.
BrettNUFC
Enjoyed that game. Quite tense but some good football played by both sides.
The College Dropout
Good game. Madrid Valencia to finish it off.

And he didn't calmly pass it to a blues teammate, the referee said there was a foul when Stones had the ball.
colinmk
Yeah, really good that. Much rather watch either of them over likes of mancity/utd/chelsea any day.
Guest palnese
John Stones is the best player in the World.
joeyt
Reckon Martinez should be getting more out of that squad tbh They've won 3 games since September. Us, Sunderland and Villa. Really poor
BrettNUFC
Stones is so good Should have told the scouse c***s behind the goal to f*** off! aye what the f*** was that, the guy was in control of what he was doing. He's some player like. Best English CB i've seen in ages. He's going to be incredible Yep, reminds me a lot like Rio. Has genuine class that could play in any side. Should be a certain starter at Euros.
The College Dropout
Okay whatevs - he had the ball at the end of the day. I just wanted to know if in other countries stuff like that is received better by fans. Certainly in the UK - even at grassroots, if you're a little shaky on the ball or things get a tad tight you're encouraged to just lump it.
The College Dropout
Not sure how great a defender Stones is tbh. But tidy on the ball aye.
triggs
Reckon Martinez should be getting more out of that squad tbh Definitely should be. They're 11th like and they have probably the 6th or 7th best team.
The College Dropout
Aye - Martinez should be doing better

joeyt
Reckon Martinez should be getting more out of that squad tbh They've won 3 games since September. Us, Sunderland and Villa. Really poor Yeah, and a lot of quality in there. Best CB in the league imho, one of the best Strikers, GD, Besic, Coleman, Baines all quality footballers. Keeper's are s**** but they've a good squad Agree, but not sure if Besic is 'quality'
triggs
Not sure how great a defender Stones is tbh. But tidy on the ball aye. Extremely good I reckon. Reads the game very well. He's a bit like Colo but quicker. Doesn't seem to enjoy the physical stuff. Very talented though, great to watch
