Ronaldo
Your pal Ando doesn't like McClaren, that's for sure.
Big Geordie
Paul Dummett; "We made it too easy for them, all over the pitch. We've had a few good performance of recent, but today wasn't good enough for Newcastle United. We didn't create many chances - Leicester are a good side. No work ethic today. Need to pick ourselves up v Palace, next week" (talking to Mick Lowes)
Big Geordie
Your pal Ando doesn't like McClaren, that's for sure. He agreed with a fair bit of what I was saying, but stopped short of sticking the boot in. Won't want to lose his press pass.
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Putting Dummett up to give comments. I forgot the cunt was playing until he got booked.
Gallowgate Toon
Dummett had an absolute nightmare. Couldn't seem to win a header, kept losing his man and was absolutely shocking on the ball.
Big Geordie
Maclaren; "Football kicks you right where it hurts. Today was a setback, but not a typical performance - very disappointing and we need more consistency. Full credit to Leicester - no excuses for today. We were poor today. Only thing we can do is get back to work on Monday and work hard to put it right. Bournemouth result may have masked today's performance. International break didn't come at a good time. Understand's the fans frustrations." Lowes trying to put a positive spin on it, citing Leicester's example of how things can turn around. Maclaren unsurprisingly agrees with him! WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Consistency. The only thing we're consistent at is conceding goals, ffs.

Varadi
One of the worst performances I've ever seen. Genuinely can't remember a single incident where one of our players did something that wasn't shite.

Darth Crooks
Was there a proper shot on goal?
Guest DebuchyAndTheBeast
McClaren had two weeks to fix the team and find a solution against high pressing and he failed. The quality is there but we can't make it count. The goal at Bournemouth showed what we couldn't produce today and in large parts two weeks ago: we need to play better in tight spaces when under pressure. Using our widemen better and some better balls to Mitro wouldn't hurt.

We were too proud, I thought, to do some old-fashioned stuff and get the game open.

Gallowgate Toon
Also, we're just not very good. Our best football this season has been when we've gone the simple route. Trying to play 1-2s in tight areas and build moves, with our lot, just doesn't come off well at all.
nufcjb
I can't understand why the players look so uncomfortable on the ball. They're shit scared of shooting when in range, their 1st touch is horrible and they can't properly pass the ball in a simple and calm way. You wouldn't be surprised if the away team look uncomfortable on our pitch but we look so nervous at SJP as if we haven't played on that pitch before. Our midfielders too didn't have the space to turn when receiving the ball.
huss9
Dummett was absolutely shite today. they were all crap today (bar Elliot) but at least at left back we have a promising kid in mbabu as a decent back up option, just no excuse to continue playing dummett. If space had been that open, I think we'd have gone long much more.
