Hanshithispantz
Honestly though we're very lucky he's only got 5 games Combined with the pretty unusual rescinding of his red against Forrest he's a pretty fortunate lad. Agreed. If it's true what I've heard he said. PM if you cannot write it on here? Actually just seen Disco's post, good to see the FA are releasing the details. NG32
To get a 5 game ban and a 100k fine, seems to indicate that this was a pretty serious incident.
St1pe
This is probably a typical football fan reaction when one of their own players gets a ban but this whole thing seems like a shambles. From what has been reported the player in question didn't hear it, two wolves players have given different statements to what they heard and Shelvey himself has denied it. How on earth can you suspend someone for 5 games and fine them 100k on that?

Dr.Spaceman
I don't think 5 games is too bad, especially if it includes a cup game. Could have been far worse, it's just come at a shitty time with Diame being away. Would love to know what evidence the FA have, must be something substantial

dinotheprehistoricgeordie
Some of the people here, man. The FA took their time to get the facts straight before charging the player. Jonjo should have kept his mouth shut, it's his fault and not the FAs. Conspiracy against us, ffs some utter loons on here.
Hughesy
Interesting to see what the written statement says, as there does seem to be a level of ambiguity in the evidence that the media have reported. Also not sure what the standard of proof is for FA matters.
Guest palnese
Only missing four league games? I'll take that if that's the case.
Hanshithispantz
The evidence doesn't need to be 'concrete' though, does it? I don't think they need video evidence of Jonjo saying anything, they've went on witness accounts by the sounds of things. You might disagree with it but it's hardly a conspiracy against NUFC. Wallsendmag
So was his misdemeanour a reaction to abuse he received about his alopecia then?

Guest firetotheworks
No doubt this has something to do with attendance figures.
Dokko
Trying not to over react to the findings and would like to hear the full reasoning from the fa...however can't be having racist cunts in our team, regardless if he's one of our better players. Wouldn't be too bothered if he's sold off the back of this.

Hanshithispantz
He isn't necessarily a racist cunt like. Obviously disappointing but I'd give him the benefit of the doubt personally. Like wallsendmag says it's reported that the lad was taking the piss out of his alopecia and he's responded in a stupid as fuck way.

STM
Don't care about the ins and outs of it. Only interested on how we cope for 5 games. Hopefully a combination of Diame, Colback, Anita and Hayden will be enough and whoever we may sign in January. Rafa will sort it man.

Like wallsendmag says it's reported that the lad was taking the p*ss out of his alopecia and he's responded in a stupid as f*** way. 100% this. Wanting to sell him on the back of this is way OTT. The Wolves player has been winding him up over his alopecia and he's said something he shouldn't have in the spur of the moment. Doesn't necessarily make him a full blown racist. The bigger problem is that he seems to have become a bit of a target for opposition players in recent weeks and he needs to learn how to deal with that better. Guest firetotheworks
I can't imagine that they'd have gone through with it without pretty solid evidence, like. Deserved if so, but it would be interesting to find out the full context of the back and forth between them.
