Watford vs Newcastle United - 23/01/16 @ 3pm (No TV)

Happy with that. Lots of pace around Mitrovic. And Wijnaldum plays that position better than Perez.

Sort of agree, but Perez will feel unlucky to have lost his place. Great player to have coming off the bench though.

As much as I like Perez I just don't think he's got a full game in him yet, it will come in time though. Even though he scored against West Ham he went missing in the 2nd half, and this isn't an isolated incident.

I would say it's purely tactical. Perez can't play as a winger, doesn't have the pace. Aarons has it to burn (depending on how long he stays on the pitch)

Really just shows how little McClaren trusts Thauvin if he can't get on the pitch in place of a player who probably isn't match fit.

Given the disruption to the side id probably argue even a point should be regarded as a good result. I'm far less hopeful now than I was earlier in the week though.

I've mentioned this a couple of

times now but I'm really not moved by Aarons, I hope he proves me wrong.

Stabbing outside the ground?

I'm sure if it were true someone more official than some random French bloke on twitter would be speaking about it

Works for L'Equipe, hardly random tbf.

It's not delayed, so he's not very well informed though...
