Heron
A Mackem I work with was saying he was totally confident that S*nderland would stay up with around 35 to 40 points. This was after 17 games and saying if they could get a point out of the next two (ManUre and Burnley (a)) then they'd be alright. They resulted in getting 0. Will be interesting to hear what he has to say tomorrow if Liverpool win. I know teams have better and worse form traditionally in different parts of the season, but unless they strengthen (which I doubt they will) they'll be down if you ask me. If they got 16 from the first 19 I can only see them reaching around 32-34 points. Decent chance they're 5 points off the pace after this round of games. Palace should beat an abject Swansea tomorrow. Aye, you'd have to expect Palace to win that especially with the new manager. The Mackems still have to play Palace and Boro away from home too, don't they? and Hull?

If they were any other team you'd say they're gone but because they've spawned their way to safety so many times in so many odd runs I'm never writing them off until a see lovely big R next to their name. xLiaaamx
5 or 6 would get into our team? Nee chance. Defoe and Van Aanholt would. None of the others would.
Guest palnese
5 or 6 would get into our team? Nee chance. Defoe and Van Aanholt would. None of the others would. Van Aanholt is too attacking. Can't be having that sort of behaviour from a fullback.

Altamullan
5 or 6 would get into our team? Nee chance. Defoe and Van Aanholt would. None of the others would. I'd have Larsson and think Januzaj could play the 10 role in the way Rafa wants it played. Not sure whether Borini or Ndong add anything.

ponsaelius
Ndong is better than Colback and both Januzaj/Borini are much better than Gouffran despite being shite.
bhoywhonder
I'd take Honeydew, Ledger and Embleton in a heartbeat, probably Maja and Mika too. So would most PL clubs, don't anyone here pretend otherwise.

Karjala
Once again these lot gain an unexpected point to stay in with a chance. Palace have to win tomorrow, but still Boro seem the most likely to save the mackems. Next 3 scum games are huge for them.
ilikenewcastle
They'll stay up. Anyone who thinks they won't hasn't been watching for the last 5 years. Please don't anybody get their hopes up.
BeloEmre
Some though games coming up for them. Stoke, WBA and Spurs the next 3. They need 4 points from those games imo.
