Village Idiot
Those injuries disrupted us for a bit, and Atlético grabbed their chance. We aren't grabbing ours... Neymar and Suarez both look lost for me without Messi. We still managed to create some pretty decent chances to win this.
nemtizz
Alba might be the only hateable player left at Barca. Constantly trying to ref the game.
Mole_Toonfan
Didn't Neymar and Suarez score a shit load together without Messi last year? Doubt it's because of that.
Village Idiot
Simeone set the team up very well to nullify our front three. Most of our chances came from other players. I hope Messi's injury isn't serious, but his groin seemed fucked.
The College Dropout
Didn't Neymar and Suarez score a s*** load together without Messi last year? Doubt it's because of that. they look discombobulated when Messi went off. For the next 10 minutes or so when Atleti scored. But they settled down and could've scored. Messi is picking up a fair few injuries. On Real, a 34 year old Pepe looks significantly better than Varane. Not this one game either but when Pepe was out last season and Varane had a run in the side he didn't impress.

They could go down as two of the best.
joeyt
Despite being around for ages, Nathaniel Chalobah made his Chelsea debut last night, 6 years after first being involved in the matchday squad
Newcastle Fan
Despite being around for ages, Nathaniel Chalobah made his Chelsea debut last night, 6 years after first being involved in the matchday squad I think it was in that 4-3 game when Shola and Nile Ranger scored when he first appeared

Ryan
Quality third that for Dortmund, probably the best team to watch in Europe at the moment the way they're playing.

Mole_Toonfan
See he's playing Herrera instead of Fellaini as well who will probably be a better fit for Pogba I imagine. Fair play to Mourinho tbh, didn't think he'd ever drop Rooney.

Fair play to Mourinho tbh, didn't think he'd ever drop Rooney. This looks like the beginning of the end. He's played at a top level from a young age, and it's taken its toll. I've always felt that the turning point came a few seasons ago when Fergie insisted on trying to play him against Bayern, a week after he sprained his ankle in the first leg. He broke down after 20 minutes and hasn't recovered his full pace since.
