A properly shit, Mourinho managed Man United with a big budget and the world's most expensive player is extremely satisfying, like.

man city fan just asked me who else in history could score that goal? f*** off s*** loads

Is he like 2 weeks old? [emoji38]

I honestly think he's best ever 2 play in prem :idiot2:

[emoji38] I feel for you man. I'd laugh in the face of anyone who said that to me, as fantastic as he is.

wasn't having it that ronaldo( midfield) or Vardy vs liverpool was 500% times harder  :fool:

Would have Evra over Cole personally.

Yewha?

To follow up, only Maldini, Rob Carlos and possibly Lahm (if you hoy him in at left back) are better in my lifetime imo. Cole was seriously fucking good like.

Can't really remember what level Modric was playing at before his R.Madrid move but maybe at a massive stretch I could have included him in the list. Probably not

Only thing I really remember about Modric at Spurs was us giving him the freedom of WHL and losing 5-0

Not sure if I agree with Shearer that Aguero is the only world class player in the PL. Would say de Bruyne is as well

De Bruyne's the one that came to mind immediately, but I don't think it's been long enough to say for certainty. I miss the quality we used to have tbh. Suarez in particular, as much of a prick as he was.

Trying to think of players who were genuinely world class for a period in the Prem in the last 10 years (since Shearer retired and Henry left) that haven't been mentioned.

Ronaldo, Suarez, Bale, Ashley Cole, Lampard, Gerrard, Torres (briefly), Scholes, Giggs, Drogba (?), Rooney (?). Might be overrating some of those and may have missed out someone really obvious

Cech, Terry, Tevez, Cacapa.

Should have included Terry, forgot about the other 2

Aye, I think if you put Modric in then you open up the door for other players as well. There'll be one that we've missed like, it's always the way. We're sticking with post-Henry, aye? Because before that there are tons.

Aye we can change it to pre-Henry, going to be plenty of Man Ure and Arse players in that

Bergkamp, Vieira, Shmeichel, Cantona, Zola are the definites.

What the hell's Lineker on about there, "Gaston Ramirez hasn't scored for nearly two years"?

He only joined Boro in January and scored 7 in the Championship run in.

Bit of a stretch, but did he not mean in the Premier League?

Presumably he's got it from somewhere, bit of a daft thing to say if he's making a point about waiting ages for a goal though.

Aye, it wasn't an aggrandising point that he was making, like, so it probably wasn't necessary. Boro though, so about 42 people care.

Just watched Norwich and Brighton highlights myself.

Holy fook Norwich are going nowhere if that's how they plan to defend. Really embarrasing they defended like the Norwich of old that went down to league one. If anyone fancies a lesson in how to never defend they gave more than enough examples. Players not picking up their men, players losing the ball with ease, players slipping and a horrid concentration level in general. I guess the good thing for them is they wont be facing the likes of us and Brighton every week who will take the chances they will so easily give away. But they'll throw a lot more points away yet unless there's a serious improvement becuase that was shocking.

Ronaldo's 43rd hat-trick of his career. I'm sure he got his first against us?

EDIT: According to Wiki, that was his only ever Man Utd hat-trick. That's pretty crazy.

Bassong isn't even getting a game for them. Definitely graduated from the Steven Taylor school of '86-born CBs whose progression stops dead before 23.
