I wouldn't mind keeping him, but as a back up, and I'm not sure he'd be happy with being a squad player. But he's really not good enough if we do get serious money to spend in the summer. Murphy is very raw, but you can see the potential in him to become our best player. Gayle I just don't really like as a player tbh, and considering his play style doesn't really contribute to the overall team, and he is only there to put the ball in the back of the net, he hasn't done it enough this season for me, and has even missed a fair few chances that he should have scored. Gayle scores us goals, Ritchie and Shelvey don't and while Ritchie does create them (mainly from set pieces) he could never do what Murphy did to set up Perez for our winner against Stoke.
