CaliMag
It makes sense because he is a Pompey supporter. That’s always been his team. He’s from there.
Hot Since 1882
Never forget what Howe and Tindall did... I'd be fucking great if Calum Wilson, Matt Ritchie play a Champions League game at SJP

MrRaspberryJam
Huge respect for anyone who offers Bruce out on the training ground and sticks about for a kickabout and for a laugh at Man Utd’s own back yard.

Pilko
Others stole the headlines but I'd describe his performance as useful, steady, hard-working, efficient and reliable. He's even slower than he used to be, which I'd have never thought possible, but he put a good shift in and didn't make any errors which is way more than I'd expect from him these days. TRon
Honestly felt like we were going to be playing with 10 men when he was announced, but even if his legs have gone, he'll find a way.
gazza ladra
Well if you are going to play someone as slow as Matt Ritchie, you can do a lot worse than Man Utd.

samptime29
He wasn't bad. Bit slower but he was steady. Can't help but like the guy. Been with us for many years now. I'd like to see him on the coaching set up in future, if that's what he wants to do.
andycap
Worked his arse off didn't look out of place at all. It's a pity he's probably only able to play for sixty minutes roughly. But the effort is always there.
Pancrate1892
I think Richie gets some really undeserved flack. People go on as if he's had periods of being shite, yet all his toon games to date he's always been a steady and above average performer. Yes it probably helped last night that he had runners around him, but he was outstanding. Always forward thinking.
54
Will love him forever for that first man header from the Arsenal corner at the end
Aiston
Did we register him for the CL? Love him, hope he stays as a coach with us when he retires. Edited November 4, 2023 by Aiston
wormy
He must be buzzing just to be involved. I mostly forgot he even made it on to the pitch and that's good enough for me. Good egg, this bloke.
