Won a nice £61 off a ten team accumulator yesterday. With just a pound on it. Just placed this on Crotone to win at 2/5 in play.

Won this, then took my original £10 back out. Placed my winnings on Krasnodar to draw (in-play) got myself up to £100. Banked a further £70. Got £20 on Chernomorets in play against Shaktar Donetsk now  Do I fuck know these teams...

Could end up with £150 off a quid though if this goes right. Think I'll stop at that.

Love the Ukrainian league me...

Just been alerted to a game in the Nigeria Premier League.  A home team are losing at HT.. thinking "ok.. great?" I went to look at the league's fixtures from the past months

(goes back even further)

Away teams don't win there  Apparently refs are usually local to the home teams and the home teams are the ones who pay them. Fans are mental and threaten them too

Done some digging.. From an article in 2013

Enyimba's sweep of home clean sheets is unprecedented but the overall trend of home invincibility and away vulnerability is not new in the NPL, where travelling teams face perilous challenges relating to violent crowds, questionable refereeing and, indeed, travel itself. Arriving just before kick-off after long road trips, often on hazardous surfaces, is far from ideal preparation for players. And they do not always arrive. Last season two matches were postponed when first Sunshine Stars and then Wikki Tourists were robbed on their way to games. Mostly, of course, teams do make it to grounds – and that is when they must contend with fans and referees.

Referees must contend with fans too – for the men in the middle being beaten up is not so much a risk of the job as an inevitability. Wikki Tourists and Kwara United both had results overturned this season after particularly vicious attacks on officials at the grounds, while Enugu Rangers were ordered to play six matches behind closed doors for similar reasons.

[...]

Lack of funding constrains the LMC's ability to help referees in one crucial way: officials do not receive salaries from the league, rather they get "indemnities" that are paid before each match by the home team. At least, that is how the arrangement is supposed to work but referees complain that some clubs try to make payment performance-related. It is now common for away teams to seek to ensure balance before a game by offering to cover referees' indemnities too. "Sometimes the quality of refereeing can come down to which team offered the most generous expenses," a club official who did not wish to be named told the Guardian

Time to start betting on Nigerian football

Bet365.  The home team currently losing are @1.83 to win or draw

Also.. wtf

Even when referees are determined not to be influenced by payments, they must show even greater fortitude to ignore the demands of certain crowds. And even if they do, that is still no guarantee that the home mob will not get their way. "There was an infamous case several years ago when a referee, Dogo Yabilsu, awarded a penalty to Sharks at Kwara United and fans invaded the pitch," recalls the Nigerian editor of kickoffnigeria.com Colin Udoh. "Yabilsu was a colonel in the army and he took out his service pistol and chased the fans off. But Sharks were still afraid of what would happen if they scored so their player deliberately missed the spotkick."

Win/Draw is 2.20 now.. 20 mins left. I'm so fucking tempted

So if you put say a tenner on this what would you win? The decimal format isn't what I am used to? I assume it'd be like £22?

aye

Not gonna bother, knowing my luck I'll pick the one game where the away team paid the ref more. Be interesting to see how it plays out though, gonna look at odds for future games if I remember

Not going too well today. 100% because I posted confidently about the bets

Aye, I've had a right mare today. Literally everything I've tried has been s***.

Gone for a draw in Lazio v Napoli to try salvage the day, so it'll probably be 6-0 after 20 minutes.

I'm watching Vålerenga - Sandefjord, had Vålerenga but they were down 0-1 at HT. Then they equalize and play great, which has me thinking "well, this'll go my way". Immediately after that thought there's a red card to Vålerenga and Sandefjord take the lead again

Anyone know when the Golf masters will end? I've got a matched bet on it and I'm waiting for it to be settled.

Around midnight.
