Just incredible it was spotted when ball was in a neighbouring postcode

Guest chopey
My arse is starting to twitch. I felt worse before yesterdays game than after, if we can play like that for the rest of the season promotion will be no problem

But, I still am.
Tiotes Witch Doctor
Am I correct in thinking Hudds can win 4 out of 5 games and we would only need 4 points aslong as they lose 1? We're up man.

Same selective memory possibly applies to penalties and other bizarro officiating (two rescinded reds in one game, giving a free kick to the oppo following encroachment at a converted penalty etc.). Anybody done the numbers on penalty decisions?
afar
Be interesting to see that breakdown for Huddersfield and Brighton, Huddersfield in particular seem to have a knack of knocking in late goals to turn results, or at least that's what I recall. JP
Rafa talked up the April 'mini-league' a lot. He was referring to us v Hudds. So far: Newcastle P4 W2 D1 L1 7 points Hudds P4 W2 D0 L2 6 points We match their points total and we do it comfortably (with 2 games spare)
loki679
Maybe NUFC have just beaten all hope and optimism out of me over the last 38 years but I can't shake this horrible feeling we're going to mess it up. Logically and objectively I know we're likely to make it but this club has a habit of breaking your heart in new and unexpected ways.
