Matt
#cansofLCL Shame about Stockdale but I assume they have someone lined up. The lads involved are genuine supporters and i’m delighted the club is back in the hands of people who care about its future. Relegation is more than likely, but that’s a secondary matter today. Big Geordie
Tom Wade apparently in charge for Saturday's game at Ilkeston Town. Now I'm not working at weekends, I may well head back to Croft Park and take my nephew with me. Will see who they manage to get in and whether funds are going to be in place to make the club competitive again. Helluva job on mind.

There is more to come on the Trust’s ownership % and how they are raising funds. It will be a hard season on the pitch but at least the ownership nightmare is over. Never looked like scoring really, it’s been their home form that’s seeing them through this season for the most part too. Agree they looked absolutely devoid of confidence going forward, so ponderous and so slow at moving the ball. Thought they were hugely lacking in the middle of the park. Did find it amusing the lad who got the first, and a couple of others, giving it out to the kids behind the goal like he’d scored at SJP.

UncleBingo
Heaton Stan bounce back with a 3-0 win over Ossett. Could have been 5 or 6 to be fair, much better.
ponsaelius
Brilliant feisty proper non-league game between Whitley and Boro Rangers today, 2-2 and a red card each.

No, but I got the best pint I've ever had at a football ground. Will definitely go back, it was great.

Never heard owt like the abuse barry ferguson got from the albion fans like Was at ryton today for their vase game decent turn out against didsbury who brought 100 or so with them. Noisy fuckers as well. Not much quality in the game but plenty tackles flying in

RobS
Pretty drab affair at Dunston v Grimsby Borough, 0-0 with a strong straight red on 75 for the home team. Still looked the better team but lacked a bit of quality in the box. JJ O'Donnell looks like he's starting to get back to fitness mind
Paullow
Dunston and Newton Aycliffe are doing fine generally and Bishop Auckland are now unbeaten in 8 (4W 4D) and pulling away from the bottom 4 after a slow start. Heaton doing reasonable in their first season at this level, averaging more than a point per game and a respectable GD, but not currently looking amazing for either Ashington or Consett, but there is still a long way to go. Hopefully Sheffield and Ossett keep struggling (nothing against either) and they just need worry about 2 relegation spots instead of 4.

Big 5-3 win yesterday against Hartlepool. 7600 in there yesterday, including a brilliant away following (1500). Attendances have never been so high - obviously accountable to the stadium move, but great to see interest so high anyway. There's only Southend and Oldham down there with similar numbers. BUJ
Shields drawn against high flying Redcar (away) in the next round of the vase. Unbelievable out of 64 teams in the hat the 4 remaining NL sides were drawn against each other.

Hibs missed a pen then eventually scored one in the 94th minute. Game restarted then Hibs scored again....or so they thought. Turns out the shot had went in off an offside Dwight Gayle so was ruled out after a VAR check. Great drama. A St Mirren fan booted a seat before walking out when it looked like they'd blown a 2 goal lead at the death. Looks like they're playing in the Cup. Be either there, Gateshead or Percy Main. Can't decide. Berwick the best day out, Gateshead should be the best game, and Percy Main the handiest.
