Morpeth were two up against York.

Results improving for the Minstermen after what surely was the club's nadir a few weeks back, losing 3-0 at home to Bradford Park Avenue. Only the FA Trophy today of course but still good to see.

Squad shake up, a draw at Gateshead and then six wins on the bounce since this historically embarrassing night (which I attended :pow:). Won 2-0 at Fylde tonight, which is a stonking result; back in the play-off places, which is the very lowest that they should be. Howay the Minstermen.

Ten unbeaten and 23 goals scored for York City since the end of Jan. A dozen games left but they should secure a play-off finish. Home to Boston tomorrow, who are immediately beneath us and whom we have a game in hand against. Win that and it puts us in an excellent position.

No idea what their chances are should they get to the play-offs, but we've faced fellow contenders away from home in this recent spell and done well; with games again Brackley, Chorley and Fylde all still to come, which will give us a clue. Fingers crossed they keep this form up.

It's a nightmare division to get out of, that's for sure.

The ladies are doing really well too.

Been doing big improvements since they partnered with one of the American academies through Northumbria University (if I remember correctly it is that uni).

Blyth really are Jekyll and Hyde at the moment - abject through the week at Guisley, yet manage to bag a superb win at Chorley today.
