Been a long time since fixture congestion, squad and CL run affected the race to win the PL. Surely the last winners of the PL to get to the semi's in the CL would be 6, 7 years back? Only saving grace is that Atleti & Barca are also in the CL and have similar problems. Madrid have an extra game to play but they've also got the best squad.
