Even better if some could scream obscenities so loud and passionately that their face becomes a veiny omelette of deep reds and blues

After kick off they walked us through the concourse to the away end and two middle aged blokes started genuinely booing her There you go. TBF to me it’s just when they come on the big screen, it’s not to their faces.

I do the same, usually only get a few turned heads looking to see what's wrong with me, not managing to get it to catch on yet

I love Jacob, I rate him, but let's not pretend he isn't going to be pretty ineffective at best vs the top teams as all games this season have shown. Really, really needs to work on first touch and press resistance. Most professional players when receiving a ball know which direction to control a pass to to take it to comparative safety, Jacob seems to struggle. But he's gone 30 now so asking him to improve on this might be moot. If we can adapt to his weaknesses as a team to get the best of him in those more difficult games, he's a player who can do a lot of damage with time and space on the ball. He really should not be coming short to do the overlap thing with Tripps vs top teams, let him run down the wing into space with the ball over the top or as a through ball and let Tripps stay back and quarterback. He's great at crossing, great at shooting from distance, and plays with a fantastic tempo that's often on another level to the rest of our team. When Jacob plays well, we get results. Well i dont know about that. He has goals/assist vs Liverpool, Arsenal, Villa and Forest this season. Sure his returns are more impressive against lower teams, but that would be the case for almost everyone i guess.
