Consortium of one Posted August 14, 2017 Share Posted August 14, 2017 Here in the states it was great to be able to sit at home and watch the game. I liked our start and even when Spurs settles in and began to win the possession battle I liked the fact that we show a lethal touch in that we were able to get into good positions to make something happen. If Ayoze had surged forward on that neat back pass from Atsu he could have had us 1-0 but for some reason he stopped in the hole. I was happy with how we were doing defensively until Shelvey's st00pid stomp. Say what you want about Kane's scissor tackle but it doesn't compare to Shelvey's stomp. That undid the whole game and once he was sent off the game was over. If not for that i really think we could have held them to a draw. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
