Isak going to Liverpool this summer would be pointless for him.

Papers saying they’ll be bailing out Chelsea with a £100m bid for Caicedo. Yasir needs to have a word.

That's actually somewhat reasonable. Chelsea would be mad to sell though, he's the best they have imo.

Don't see why Chelsea would let Caicedo go. Obviously 100M is ridiculous so that would be why but he's quietly been probably their best player this season (now Palmer has gone off the boil). The fans love him and I've no doubt any new manager coming in would want to keep him.

PIF effectively own a big chunk of Chelsea through having billions invested in Chelsea's majority owner Clearlake Capital.

WilliamPS
They may need to generate a big few for PSR reasons now if they’ve ran out of tricks. separately I wonder if any Chelsea will find a few players start trying to leave if they don’t get CL, basically lose faith in the project and start to regret those 8 year contracts

They've got a shit ton of saleable assets. What they don't have is many quality players. They may as well sell Palmer if that's your argument. rebelrouser
Love Liverpool getting older and not competing with us for rw and cb. Then again, i feel much less desperate for "upgrading" the rw with the way Murphy is on a tear.

GeordieToon
I’d be delighted if Chelsea missed out on the CL, they must be running short of things to sell to themselves and cheat the system.

janpawel
Man City after Gibbs-White. I'd have loved him as a attacking / versatile midfielde option Cunha will have to do then

joeyt
Be awful if Pep coaches the flair out of Gibbs White in the way he has with Grealish
Andy84
Gibbs-white for KDB I just don’t get it. Good player but KDB was generational who led them to league and Champions league titles, absolute wand of a right foot. Gibbs-White seems a massive downgrade
joeyt
Who isn't a downgrade on peak KdB? He;s one of the best midfielders the league has ever seen Edited April 19 by joeyt

On the off chance anybody is interested, my Scottish team Dunfermline are now pretty much safe from relegation to the Scottish 3rd tier barring a huuuuuge mathematical turnaround. Fak
Chelsea had to finish above 15th to trigger their obligation to buy Jadon Sancho. Having beaten Fulham on Sunday that clause has now been met. But they can give Man Utd a £5m penalty instead if they decide they don't want him.

I think hes got a lot of talent but he needs players to combine with. Either way should Chelsea make it permanent he will be pushed out in the medium term as they are obviously addicted to the newest toys.

Even if it was something like £60m plus Gordon. Think Howe will make him hungry again. He's not quite at Dele Alli levels yet. Even that short stint in Germany showed he still has something.
