janpawel
Man U supposedly confident in getting Delap Someone I'd like here, as well as Cunha (not saying they'd both be the best use of our potential budget mind). So hope they don't win Europa in case it makes a difference to their targets

A smarter move would be decent mid-table club, and use the advantage of his low price from the release clause to get another achievable release clause at his next club. If possible of course. He'll say no but at least we tried. To have any chance we'd have to lie by telling him we're looking to play 2 upfront next season.

Perhaps, but ManU/Chelsea will offer him a lot more money than a mid-table side.

I agree completely. Chelsea I can half understand, but Man Utd, definitely not, they're done.

Absolutely, but, if he could wangle a decent release clause, then the money would come as long as he backs himself to succeed. If he signs to Man Utd on big money, he's stuck there for a long time, potentially not playing or achieving much. I also don't think it's a great move from Chelsea and Man Utd. They've both got young centre forwards that need to develop. They need a main man. Maybe it's unrealistic, but if Man Utd get Champions League, I think I'm right in saying Osimhen is a Man Utd supporter. Surely that's the sort of move they need to be making. healthyaddiction
I'm also pretty jealous as we really need a good quality young centre forward to understudy for Isak.

Agreed, but Osimhen will be far too expensive IMO. I think he's asking for obscene wages, and we won't do that anymore.

SEMTEX
One match away from CL football. THEYRE DONE. If he was a real man he'd go to West Ham and work hard and never have a chance of winning anything. And get paid less. With any luck in a few years he'd get a big move to Man Utd or Chelsea.

I'd be shocked if Osimhen was anything other than a massive success. Edited May 12 by healthyaddiction

I think Delap carries the same risk as Hojlund, but at a significantly lower cost. I do think Delap is the first choice should we not get Champions League football, but think we'll try for better if we win the cup. Going to be a huge summer either way. Has the potential to transform us.

Ben
I reckon if I was a promoted club, rather than spend £100 million on 12 or 13 players I would just buy a £50 million Striker and Keeper, sorted.

Certainly nowhere near Aldi or Lidl.

Still time, but it's running out.
