Guest alijmitchell
Woah guys, I'm not arguing for 'toe to toe' (Greg) or an 'open game' (TRon), I was trying to say maybe we could mix it up a bit rather than waiting for the last 10 minutes. Football matches tend to ebb and flow, could Rafa not give signals when to push and when to settle? We're 6th and we have Joselu leading the line man. Rafa is working wonders
Yorkie
Mitro's cameo was pretty terrible. Almost give away goal with one of his first touches, and then comically stayed down after being hit with the ball. Gave the defenders something to deal with from that corner, mind. Could say it enabled Merino the run.

Figures 1-0 Football
You can tell that is a team managed by Roy Hodgson They’ll be in or around the bottom 3 come May. That is exactly the type of game we’d have lost previously, a good 3 points from an absolutely terrible game. We have (and will) play better than that and lose, so it’s good to pick up 3 points on an off day.

ujpest doza
Palace deserve that. Awful f***ing team. They played better than us for decent stretches of the game. They didn't have a shot on target in 96 minutes of football. What about the cheeky one from Zaha that Elliott did well to save down low in the first half? ujpest doza
Was the yellow for Cabaye the right call? Nope, should have been a red card all day long, late, ball long gone and looked two footed as well as causing a melee afterwards.

samptime29
Said pre-match, I'd take snidey 1-0, so I'm delighted we've got over the line. Encouraging home form so far, we're beating the teams, that we need to be beating. Been a very solid start to season.

Just further evidence that his teams are boring and lack ideas going forward, even with one of the best strikers in it. Your response to his Palace team being dreadful was that he doesn’t have a striker, my reply was that it makes no difference.
ujpest doza
Commentator said it was out of character for Cabaye. Was it fuck, he was always getting snide yellow cards for rash challenges and generally acting like a little petulant cunt on the pitch. FFS, he was an absolute horrible snidey bastard when he played for us if things weren't going our way, how anyone can say it was out of character defies belief. Figures 1-0 Football
Yet another game where an opponent gets away with a red card* - how many games in the PL is it now since an opponent was sent off? *not seen it back, but it looked a certain red from my seat

Crumpy Gunt
Total shite. But 1.0 will mask the fact we were 2nd best all over today. A win is a win though.
