Shearergol
For all that money Shitty have spunked on goalkeepers/defenders the space liverpool are getting is shocking but funny It only seems to be Liverpool they've struggled against this season so you could say that the money they've spent has been worth it given how good they've looked in nearly every other match A left back on the pitch would help. He’s having a nightmare and Liverpool are exploiting it perfectly. Tie over.

Guest
Even at 0-3 I can still see City making them sweat.
Shearergol
Kompany is rubbish these days too. Gini coming on to try balance things up. Or not.
The College Dropout
Reminds me a bit of Dortmund vs Real. The 4-0. Overwhelmed. Too fast. Too much quality. This is a great Liverpool performance.
Disco
Liverpool know they can commit as City are playing with no Sterling, no full backs and the invisible man upfront.
sbnufc
Laporte fucking abysmal again on that 3rd goal like. Pep needs to get him off
Mole_Toonfan
None of this surprises me as soon as i saw the lineup, problem with Guardiola is sometimes he tries to be too smart for his own good and he ends up making tactical decisions which ends up fucking his team up. Mainly because he's obsessed with his team being countered, irony is more often than not he just makes the team more vulnerable. He still hasn't learnt this, even though it's been a problem since his Barca days.
The College Dropout
Laporte at FB has backfired tremendously. Salah is absolutely rinsing.
Tsunami
Not sure what difference it would have made but Pep has bollocks up with his line up.

sbnufc
Zinchenko has been great at LB for Man City this season. Weird putting CB Laporte there. Glad it's backfired so spectacularly, serves 'em right

City being rubbish is as much a key to this. They’ve bottled it. It’s the club. A good Liverpool team in Europe is a massive threat. Everyone at the club knows what to do. City are playing like a club without this pedigree.

xLiaaamx
Barca 1-0. Might be an own goal. Messi made it. They play too narrow now, they need some wingers.

City being rubbish is as much a key to this. They’ve bottled it. Nah Pep has made stupid decisions. Benching Sterling means as Disco pointed out they can push forward knowing they can't be punished and playing 3 CBs also plays right into what's working for Liverpool. I can pretty much guarantee if they stuck to the usual 433 with two wingers either side of Jesus this wouldn't be happening, but as is usual with every big game fuck up in his career Guardiola has overthought the match up. It's deliberate why they don't play with wingers. There's a reason why they are unbeaten despite having by their standards a poor squad.

Reminds me of when he started changing Barca from 433 to 442 with 4 central midfielders and it just didn't work as well in big games. No idea why he doesn't just trust his usual plan. Tsunami
The City defence doesn’t look like they have any legs and there’s no protection in front. Pep’s done nowt to put it right.
