There's a smart way to highlight what's going on at Newcastle without disrespecting other clubs. We may be 'bigger' but they've got something we haven't and that's ambition. If we all had the mindset that the fella on the clip has, maybe MA and his cronies wouldn’t have had such an easy time of it over the last 10 years. Again fuck them and any of our own fans who get precious over it, grow some balls and think of the bigger picture, the real picture. This isn't about belittling other clubs or arrogance, this is about standing up for what you believe in and how you value NUFC and it’s not as if it’s not without merit. Fucking hell man, we are no minnows, we are a huge club, one of the biggest in the world, historically and in terms of fan base. Even today. Don’t be ashamed by that or think because we haven't won anything for so long or were recently relegated that we are as fans not entitled to value our club somewhat higher than our billionaire owner does or god forbid fans of other clubs or the media. Fuck them, I don't care about them. Neither should you. Good on that fella, standing up for what he believes in and demanding better. This is NUFC under Ashley, the shirt we once broke the world record transfer fee to play in is now occupied by a 28 year old loan player from relegated WBA who we could only get by sending our own number 9 the other way. Meanwhile, the likes of Fulham who were playing as low as 4th tier league football when we were entertaining the Nation with a brand of football never seen before while on our way to challenging for the title which we agonisingly lost out to by 4 points against a behemoth in Man Utd back then and more so now are spending more than we have ever spent on a single player just on squad players. Saying "they shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as Newcastle united" is quite another. Needlessly arrogant, dismissive and pointless. Why do we even need to mention them. It's some Man United fan bullshit. Who else should we add to the mix of clubs we can't state we think we're better than ? Crystal Palace ? Notts County ? Sunderland ?
