Fraudy Frank Lampard’s Derby County not turning up in the playoffs again.

He's gotten a team into the top 6 in a very competitive league in his first season as a manager, yet he a "fraud". Okay then.

He inherited a very good squad.

Done worse than last season in the league if it stays as is. Same position and failure but finished one point worse off.

I know a couple of Derby fans and they both think he's done alright this season to get them to where they are.

Derby love bottling the playoffs like.

I blame Dickie Keogh. Was the one who fucked up v Zamora and must be the only one still around. Always seems to be acting the faux hardman cunt n all.

Ajax have scored 119 goals this season, PSV have scored 98 goals and even the 4th bottom team in the Dutch league have scored 50 goals. It shows its one of the most entertaining leagues in Europe though also shows its easy to score in that league.

Also why buying strikers from that league is a mug's game (suarez/ibra aside)

Nistelrooy says “Hi”

Kluivert scored 14 goals for us which was decent considering how shit we were that season.

It sees to go from one extreme to the other. On one hand you've got Ronaldo, Kluivert, Suarez, Ibrahimovic and on the other you've got Alves, van Wolfswinkel, Janssen etc

Van Persie, Huntelaar, Kluivert, Van Basten, Bergkamp & Van Hooijdonk like this.

You're right though, in general

Agree with the sentiment given some of the failures (De Jong, Kuyt, Kezman, Huntelaar) but at the same time the two big Dutch clubs have been insanely good at spotting and developing young talent both domestically and in South America, which is why you can add Ronaldo (Brazilian), Van Nistelrooy, Kluivert, Bergkamp, Romario and van Basten to Suarez/Ibrahimovic. Quite a list tbh, makes it's worth a gamble when you do see someone who looks like they have talent.

Disagree strongly that Huntelaar was a failure like. Can't put him in a bracket with De Jong, they're worlds apart. Kuyt too.

To be fair most of the examples of good Eredivisie strikers are nearly all from decades ago, Suarez aside

Exactly. I was talking present day, Luuk De Jong just hit 28 this season for example, and RVP got 16.

Locadia and Jahanbakhsh were also very prolific in the Dutch league before moving to Brighton and have struggled badly in the Premier League.
