Disco
Valencia are such an odd team. Knock Ajax out for absolutely no reason.

ponsaelius
Few teams I've enjoyed watching as much as Atalanta the last few seasons. A team built on a tiny budget but they just go for it and try to score goals.
Adam
There was a bit in the first half where Haaland clears a corner at near post, then Sancho breaks at pace. 5 seconds later Haaland is pegging it past him, lad is rapid. That second goal as well, utterly ridiculous. EDIT Quoting myself as I've just seen this on Twitter, serious gas
Guest Howaythetoon
Ridiculous straight line pace, to think the original Ronaldo, Collins John and Dean Ashton could run like that with the ball also at their feet.
Big Geordie
Thought Spurs were really poor tonight. Very impressed with RBL, inparticular Ampadu and Werner.
Mikky
Thought Spurs were really poor tonight. Very impressed with RBL, inparticular Ampadu and Werner. Werner would be such a good signing for Barca
samptime29
Very tough for Spurs with no Kane or Son. In saying that they were poor for 70 mins, and only started to play when Lamala came on.

Tribesman
Looking like boring return legs. Atalanta 3 up Its something I believe should have happened for a while now, but due to its success in the Copa del Rey this season I would like to see 2nd legs binned in the Champions League. Matches would be far better and you are more likely to see more shocks. I would like to see away goals abolished as well. However, if teams that topped their group were given home advantage then perhaps away goals could remain in place to make things more interesting. These changes would never happen because there is too much money involved.
Yorkie
I've never been that arsed with the Champions League but surely its second legs are responsible for the vast majority of its most dramatic ever moments? Certainly in the last two or three years, anyway?
Tribesman
There is that viewpoint, but a lot of matches especially in the last 16 can be as good as done if a team gets a big lead in the first leg. What Liverpool did to Barcelona last season tends to be rare.
David Edgar
Yeah, but there are plenty of ties with everything to play for going into the second leg.
