joeyt
Not sure if we've already got a thread but confirmation of the matches in China Details of Newcastle's participation in the Premier League Asia Trophy in July have been confirmed. Newcastle will kick off the event by facing Wolves at Nanjing Olympic Sports Centre on Wednesday July 17th at 6pm local time, before Manchester City and West Ham meet there at 8.30pm. All four PL sides then move on to the Hongkou Stadium Shanghai on Saturday July 20th, with the losing sides facing each other at 6pm ahead of the final between the winning pair at 8.30pm. Tickets are £21 for Nanjing and £32 for Shanghai, giving access to both games played that day. The four clubs involved have taken allocations of tickets for each venue and will be selling these direct to their own fans. Based on the Wolves and West Ham websites, it looks to be 500 per venue. NUFC confirm that they will be following suit and confirming sale details on Tuesday. That process of obtaining tickets looks to be easier for UK based fans than the official guidance published by the PL of buying from two separate agencies in China (one for each venue). The published capacities of each ground are 61,000 (Nanjing) and 33,060 (Shanghai).

Wallsendmag
Might go up to Hibs with it just being a couple of hours up the road. I say might as it will depend 100% on whether Rafa is manager or not.

Guest
There’ll probably be one other between the Asian tour & Hibs matches when we get back. Aren’t we still going back to Ireland?
County Durham Mag
Edinburgh Mackems. Are they bitter and jealous of Hearts and desperate to be liked and have a half empty stadium?

Nah, perfect chance for our new overlord to spread the name and use his cousin’s contacts in the Far East.
Guest
This Asian Cup is going to be fucking embarrassing. One of the biggest clubs in the world, two clubs thriving to be the best they can who’ll try and spread their brand with top class managers, then Neil Redfearn and our rabble.
