Guest neesy111
8. I saw nothing today, that was positive apart from the result.
Away Toon
I'm sticking with an 8, if we don't buy heavily in this window it will stay there, if Colo goes it will be a 9 tottering towards a
Ketsbaia
No change after that match. There were positives, there were negatives but the other scores really didn't help. All hinges on the Villa match for me.
johnnypd
There's only one team I'm fairly sure we'll finish above and that's Reading and even they have 2 wins and a draw from the last four. Villa are in a similar situation to us - they have potential improvement in them but it might take changing the manager to see that improvement. Wigan have experience of relegation scraps and always get better towards the end of the season while Southampton are now getting the kind of results that their consistently good football has warranted. QPR are the unknown quantity as they now look like a pretty good side. It'll be a nightmare if they start picking up points. We need to go out and spend a significant amount of money. AyeDubbleYoo
QPR are definitely going down.
brummie
I am now starting to get worried about us. Over the last month or so, we've lost 8-0, then 0-4 then 0-3 (to Wigan!), have lost at home to two relegation zone teams and scored against neither of them, gone to a fourth division team and got mullered, and we've just completed the donation of six points to Southampton. There are three positions we desperately need help in - LB, CB, DM - and we would improve beyond measure. Unfortunately, it is starting to look like the chairman doesn't want to spend any money, so week after week, we watch the youngsters get even more depressed and unconfident. Basically, if we don't get at least three decent, experienced heads in, we are gone.

alexf
Your similar to us brum in that you probably should sack the manager as should we but who do you/we get? I think the game at villa park between us is massive and could ultimately decided which of us go down.

We can't sack our manager. It would undoubtedly make things worse. We need bodies in. If we had to change manager, too, then it wouldn't happen. Guest
I can't see us falling below the 4 beneath us and I still think we'll eventually plunder our way to around 11th.

Guest ItalianMagpie
Us and Villa definitely the worst teams of the league atm, we just can't win and rarely can avoid heavy defeats anywhere. Extremely worried, I don't even think that with Cabaye-HBA return things would get too much better, we were s*** with them fit as well and now we've also lost our topscorer who every now and then managed to nick a goal and get us points even when we created nothing. Ok, Cissè is back in the middle, but who the hell is going to give him something to work with? I think either we get 2 or 3 quality players in or we'd better to get rid of Pardew before it's too late.
alexf
At the very least we were more defensively solid today. It was no different to a lot of performances last season except we didn't have Ba and Ben Arfa available to create something out of nothing.
