Having said that, I reckon two wins and two draws would do the trick. That'd take us to 40 points and I can't see Wigan getting 16 points from 10 games (even with their usual late surge), or QPR or Reading getting 17 points from 9 games.

Stoke have taken just 4 points from the last 9 games, Sunderland are next worse with 8 points. Even if we went on a slump now that was similar to these two teams we would finish up with a points total between 37 and 41 points, I think we are safe.

Beat Wigan on Sunday and I think we've got ourselves over the line. I think we've picked up form at just the right time, our class is just starting to pull us away.
