toontownman
Huge point today. Had to be three but one will raise spirits and draw a line under our last 8. Far from out of it. As mentioned can see Hull still pulling a shock against spurs or manure. Going down to the wire. Big game against QPR and likewise watching the spurs and Sunderland games next weekend. If Leicester pick up a win next week and we grab a draw Sunderland are back in trouble. Still, more optimistic after the hull result and not losing today. Janmaat back and hopefully cisse, aarons and dejong could be huge boosts.
Guest Gino14
We still need to win a game, and not sure how we do it. If we push forward we look like conceding and no more like scoring. I've said for about five games that we won't get another point and we have. We're still awful and I'm not optimistic we'll win, but just stopping the 8 defeats in a row massively increases the chances of winning a future game. That mood of everything will be totally different over the coming week. I doubt it'll be overly positive, but it won't be 100% negative and that's such an improvement. I have no idea what'll happen now, but getting any result has just helped us a little bit.
Guest DebuchyAndTheBeast
If our goal difference was better than Hull we would realistically only need a draw, provided Hull don't get more than 3 points from two tough fixtures. Unfortunately it's not the case and we still need to win either at QPR or on the final day against West Ham to stand a chance.
Teasy
Think a win would pretty much guarantee it rather than just a chance.
Village Idiot
Tottenham is our last hope, they should beat hull but under current form anything could happen. We should just go out and nail QPR, but we never do down there, we always make it more difficult for ourselves. Dummet makes a huge difference to our defence, you can palpably note the lack of panic once williamson is removed... How the hell were some idiots on here asking for him for an England call up... Maybe they were scots.
Guest Gino14
Think a win would pretty much guarantee it rather than just a chance. A win wouldn't guarantee safety but it'd make us a rock solid bet for safety. Hull would need to win both games, with Sunderland getting a win, Villa getting a point and Leicester getting two points. All those things could happen, but it'd be unlikely.
jdckelly
With Spurs doing everything in their power to try and avoid the europa league and man utd probably with nowt to play for on the last day its far from impossible for hull to pick up results vs either or both of them. QBG
Down to a 4. Could still happen, still very much in it but saw enough today to suggest we'll pick up what we need from the next two.
brummie
The problem Hull have is that they don't manage to show character and desire for long enough. Sunderland showed a bit recently, but are very short of quality. I saw most of their match today and thought they were luckly. I think QPR are gone already, really, and it'll be Sunderland or Hull. I'll go for Hull on the basis they're in a relegation place now and only have two difficult fixtures to drag themselves out of it.

Guest Gino14
The shift in results of us getting a draw and Hull losing, has at least left it in our hands with the better fixtures. We need to do it ourselves though, it's not good enough to just hope Hull lose. One fluke result will send us down if we don't do the work. One win is what we need, so we need to go for it the next two games and make sure we do the business.
54
It's a lot less likely then it was a a few hours ago but it's still going to be tight. There seem to be quite a few parallels between this season and the season we went down, so don't count your chickens just yet.
afar
Hull are favourites now. Though I have a feeling they will get a win at home to Manure for some reason. Beat QPR and we are safe I think. But we aren't a eam that wins games, 2 draws from the last two is the best we can hope for and probably enough.
LoveItIfWeBeatU
QPR will probably be relegated by the time we play them. Unfortunately that doesn't mean they'll just roll over and let us win. There will be no pressure on them and loads on us. Anything can happen in these last fixtures.

Groo
Who's going down is the thing. Aston Villa played 36 points 38 left to play Southampton (A) Burnley (H) Almost certain to stay up Leicester City played 36 points 37 left to play Sunderland (A) QPR (H) Should be safe, well done these last few weeks Sunderland played 35 points 36 left to play Leicester (H) Arsenal (A) Chelsea (A) Couple of tough games, lose to Leicester could see them in trouble Newcastle played 36 points 36 left to play QPR (A) West Ham (H) Winnable games to most teams but maybe not to Newcastle Hull played 36 points 34 left to play Tottenham (A) Man Utd (H) tough games Burnley played 36 points 29 left to play Stoke (H) Aston Villa (A) Can only get 35 points if win both, so already down QPR played 35 points 27 left to play Manchester City (A) Newcastle (H) Leicester (A) Fail to beat Man City and they are confirmed down, with only ability to get 36 points if win all three, then they are down anyway in reality. Leicester followed by Hull have the best goal difference but think Leicester and Villa in reality are safe now, with QPR as last game at home they should win that OK. If QPR fail to beat Man City would that mean Newcastle will play a team with no reason to win or will the pressure only being on Newcastle screw them. So it's Burnley, QPR and one of Hull, Newcastle and Sunderland. Hull's fixture's must make them favourites but who know's
Guest
5. Think you could spin a coin between us & Hull now. Sunderland still not out of it either.
Dave
How embarrassing that we've dropped another two places to 17th and are now clear of the relegation zone by just two points (with an inferior goal difference) and people's fears have been eased somewhat. What a joke we are, and how shit is this league.

Decky
I can't see Hull beating Spurs away or Man Utd. Even if they get a draw they're still behind us. I was absolutely convinced they'd beat Burnley and go above us. That Burnley win is the biggest result of our season.
