Can't imagine many people want to go to Saudi... There is very high demand for flights to the North of UK from the middle east, i flew in from Bahrain connecting through Dubai and there was not a single seat empty on the flight, ithere are many people from the north working in the middle east and a very large number of people are moving to Saudi with the recent boom there, plus with Saudi opening up to tourism it falls in line with their vision to be the next top destination in the region. And i do agree with Dubai comments, Saudi has so much more to offer and i have no doubt that if they continue this way they will become a major tourist destination. Her and her two completely over the top gay mates wouldn't shut the fuck up the entire flight. She was flying to Thailand to film a Geordie Shore thing and was whinging they'd put her on a 4 leg, 35hour slog to Phuket while they flew Charlotte direct business class. 😂

The appeal of Dubai is absolutely lost on me. It's well situated for international trade, especially in the east where economies will probably be booming over the next couple of decades. I would have thought the middle east as a whole is well situated in that regard, can go east or west fairly easily from there so investing in airports doesn't seem insane from that POV. Al Ula is getting a lot of influencers to drive tourism, my GF wants to go 😅! Normally you'd think the alcohol ban would put young people off the place but a lot of them don't drink so maybe not an issue as it would have been in the past. Been to Al Ula twice last year and its magic, although crazy expensive due to limited hotels there at the moment so maybe wait a year or two as more are opening, it seems to be the current problem with large number of people coming to visit Saudi and the hotels not being able to keep up. there are some very intresting developments also opening in Neom and the red sea that really look one a kind. Harry 209
Does anyone know what the old Sports Direct at the bottom of Northumberland Street is being converted into - I was led to believe it was owned by the Rueben Brothers.

She used to adopt children, but is retired now, so someone she knows got her into hosting international students, in particular Saudi’s. She’s been invited over to Saudi, one of them in particular appears to be fairly wealthy. Edited 52 minutes ago by Stifler

Lloyds bank is taking the ground floor unit, which is going to free up their building on Grey Street to The Ivy. Some section of it is becoming another location from the people who have Lane7. The very top unit is set to become a restaurant.
