Fak
How on earth has he managed to bag himself this gig. He stunk the place out at Roma.
ponsaelius
Atalanta are a well run club so I'm sure they've looked at it as much from the tactical fit as much as the profile of manager. Juric is a bit of a Gasperini acolyte in how he sets up his teams, which I guess has played into it. Also worth remembering Gasperini had bombed at Inter and Palermo before he got that job. He did an amazing job no doubt, but the club also did amazing things for his own profile. I can't help but feel this is an awful time for them to part ways though. They had a good chance last year, but that increases even more so this year with Inter's situation and Napoli going into second season Conte with two games a week. I can only think it comes down to Atalanta not guaranteeing keeping the team together which has forced his hand - but it feels a missed opportunity for them both not to have given it one more season. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Gasp bombs badly at Roma tbh. Edited June 6, 2025 by ponsaelius
