Billys Boots
I'll throw a curve ball into the park - how about Paolo Maldini - technical director at AC Milan. Not been mentioned anywhere but just thought he might be what we need. Someone with obvious technical understanding of the finer points of the game and a world name that any player from around the globe could relate to; Just a thought! True however he was flirting with the Arsenal job that time and used it to get the payrise from Leicester. I personally think he’s a slimy cunt albeit a very good coach. Manxst
Would anyone take Hassenhuttl for a few years until we get established and can entice a CL winning manager?

DJ_NUFC
Bielsa. Knows how to keep a team up, and can lay solid foundations for 2-3 years. Not happening of course, why would he leave Leeds mid-season.

morpeth mag
If they want someone with EPL experience I'd go for Potter ahead of Martinez. Others in the frame?
DJ_NUFC
I’d be over the moon with Potter. Seems like a good bloke as well.

TheGuv
Rodgers and Potter would be great choices for a rebuild imo.

I think Favre would be a great choice for NUFC, for where we are and where we'd like to be after the first few years of rebuilding the club.
lovejoy
it'll be someone with PL experience. I reckon we'll get Rodgers, personally.
LV
Wonder if they’d try to tempt Wenger for a bit? Not sure how I feel about that but may work in the short term.
Tiotes Witch Doctor
Rodgers would be a very good choice, but Leicester are already light years ahead of us, can't see him moving personally.
mouldy_uk
Maybe I’m getting carried away and going a bit ‘football manager’ on this, but I’m not understanding anyone who would want Potter, Howe or anyone of that standing. Don’t get me wrong, if they were offered as replacements for Bruce when it looked like the takeover wasn’t happening, I would have snapped your hand off. However, we have just been given the resources to play with the big boys and surely we need a proven big name, to start attracting the top level players.
