I've come to the point where I'm starting to have serious doubts about Eddie, the credit he had in the bank is all but gone, Monday night for me was a watershed moment, yet another pitiful performance, today just cemented it... there has been something not right all season.. questions if we change manager are a) who next? And b) how do the players react?

I'd take mourinho like.

Bit of discipline in the team and a system they can all understand.

Bit like what rafa done with us.

No. Fucking. Way.

Don't get me wrong, I love him as a character, but he is toxic. Eddie will (and should) get the season. But if we finish below 7th he will be gone then.

Absolutely not.

He’s boat has sailed and it would steps back at a crucial period we need to take strides forward getting him. Need a progressive manager, that can get us playing through the lines, get players enjoying football.

Think the more the games are a tough drag like today, will get the players looking elsewhere, and Mourinho would be more of that and the toxicity he brings.

Fucked over by FFP and consequently an imbalanced squad, but it's sadly looking like his time may have to be up after this season. No excuse for being so atrocious with the players we have. Could easily finish 10-13th this season.

It's gutting because I really like him as well.

Still think the biggest issue is the stagnation off the pitch and the inability to mix things up/refresh the squad. Given the constraints we really needed to be more ruthless and proactive in the transfer market to build a more balanced squad. Some of the blue chip players we've retained and banked on building our season around (Bruno, Gordon) have been atrocious tbh.

I think Howe deserves a fair amount of criticism for the way we're playing but I also honestly don't think changing manager is going to make a huge amount of difference given where the club/squad level is at right now.

I’m not having that personally. They’re rightly criticised for not strengthening in the summer, but this manager has basically had two new England international full backs (who’ve been a couple of our best players) and Tonali an Italian international starter introduced over the past few months. Two things can be true at the same time.

Gordon going up top was a crazy decision, for me. Even if Wilson isn't fit, I refuse to accept (from what we've seen) that Osula wouldn't offer enough in that role to help us maintain our balance.

The guy is struggling for form and yet it seems every match he is being moved from one position to the next during the game.

The whole thing is a mess.

Every bit of good Howe has done here will be undone with him. Hes a divisive figure and yesterday’s man.

It's a shame the way it's turning out , I love the bloke and would still give him this season but it feels like we have been so poor for the vast majority of this season and even a lot of last season really . Even the whole PRS we can't spend to improve argument is flawed when we are below the likes of Brighton , Forest and Brentford and look poor in the vast majority of games.

It's so fucking frustrating at the minute. Two stellar perormances against Arsenal & Forest and we looked back to our best. We could have/should have been 2nd in the table tonight but two utterly dreadful performances and it's midtable mediocrity again. Too many players sinply not performing and he clearly needs to change things, but we know he won't.

Not really sure what the answer is but I think the owners will have started considering his replacements.

On top of that Barnes is benched every week. This season really is odd man

The one appointment that might actually make us worse and piss off a ton of players, depending on who he decides to scape goat when his awful football doesn't turn things around.

Pretty terrible today tbh.

I'm still backing him. I think we owe it to him to back him too, personally.

No, always been told your as good as your last job and unfortunately for managers that's the way it is results driven, can't see any positives hanging onto him for much longer.

He's available and wins a fair bit. He reminds me of rafa in his setups and systems.
