Then ended with the perfect message. LET'S GO AGAIN!!

I’ll always go to battle for you, gaffer. You’re the greatest manager in my lifetime. You’re the greatest manager of the last 70 fucking years for us. You not only gave us hope, you turned this club into the most feared club in England, you did it with the utmost professionalism and dignity tho, you’re a role model and example of hard work and determination, but we’re not here to be friends with our opposition, we’re going to get into them all day everyday.

I live in Plymouth now so could only watch the parade on YouTube.

Words almost fail me. The passion, the tens of thousands (How many tens? the joy, the scarves, that banner of Sir Eddie, the players.

One city, one club. United. Maggpies are Massive!!!

We are seriously going places - the future is so bright. I love this club.

That's mad! Just looked up the population of Newcastle:

The city of Newcastle upon Tyne had a population of approximately 300,200 in 2021,

So, 200 unwashed stayed at home?

The main things I took from last night. We're fucking nuts (Geordies), Bruno is the perfect player for us, as hes just a crazy. Our Manager is fucking elite and genuinely a magnificent man. Proud as hell last night.

Can't recall the podcast but it was a BBC one. They mentioned Howe doing a presentation at HT on how our running stats have dropped in the second half over the course of the season. Has this been mentioned elsewhere? What perfect motivation that had to be, and at half-time, too.

Back to business. Hope we carry the amazing Cup win, celebrations and positivity forward into our remaining games and finish strong.

Has humility too. Such a fantastic manager fit for us.

People talk about the takeover, and rightly so. But imagine if the takeover happens and we go for the wrong manager. We might still have got relegated and ended up at least a year behind as well as missing out on the chance to sign the class lads we have now.

It wasn’t a given that we’d turn things around, it needed a bloke absolutely committed to his task and who would give everything to get us moving forward.
