We've lost 2 consecutive games only once this season. The longest we've gone without winning is 4 games.

We've had periods where performances were ropey and/or we've suffered very unexpected losses, but overall we've been remarkably consistent.

If we've got Europe next year then we'll need a much better squad though aye

Thats nice to learn. Always feel like we have one half of the season better than the other.

Aye, there's a few post retirement interviews I'll love to see if and when they finally come out. Got a horrible feeling there'll be a proper omerta from everyone who's spent much time with Howe though

David James on Eddie Howe is a good one to look up

 we technically didn't win for over a month in Nov/Dec but there was an international break in there and it was 2 draws/2 defeats.

Tbh there were no signs before the 9 game winning run that this would end up being an outstanding season, that sequence really changed everything :)

Turning defeats into draws would help massively with the next step. We’ve won more games than anyone bar Liverpool but we’ve lost 9 which is just 1 less than Everton, Bournemouth and Fulham. Only Tottenham and Southampton have fewer draws than us.

Boy have we missed him today

He wouldn't have made a jot of difference.

We are playing a side who have our number at their home pitch. And a side who have considerably more strength in depth compared to our Longstaff, Wilson, Krafth levels on the bench.

We won at their place last season like, and beaten then 3 out of 4 times before this.

I think the second point has more precedence.

We have to slog it with the same 11 every week and they have 15/16 first team level players to rotate around.

They have difference makers on the bench. We have WIlson.

Don’t bring facts or logic to this. The trolls have had nothing to feast on for six weeks.

We usually beat them, hell we've trounced them 3 games running but every so often, Emery gets it spot on against us and we're off for all kinds of reasons. Plus our manager is in hospital and our options to change aren't in the same stratosphere as theirs. Fuck it, move on.

Don’t think they meant as soon as the final whistle was blown, like

30 minutes after the final whistle has blown seems fair.
