I think this schedule is as draining on him as it is on the players. That's not a criticism at all, just an observation. After the boardroom changes and shouldering all the burden over summer, dealing with egos like Isak's, trying to integrate new players and handle constant press conferences (more frequent because of the schedule as well), I don't know when he ever gets a break. Provided the one sensible answer there is, as usual, in that he appreciates the reality of it but the time to judge a transfer is much later, referring to the likes of Hall as an example. I just want him to go in a way that doesn’t partially tarnish the absolutely incredible things he’s done for this club, and not dragging things out. I wanted him to be the one to guide us to the very top, but I don’t think he’s got the methods or the coaching staff around him to do that unfortunately.
