Will he get a better job? The level up from us - in this country anyway - wouldn’t touch him, with the exception of perhaps Man United.

Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool wouldn’t touch him. Chelsea might but they appoint everyone and anyone.

Not me having a pop at the bloke, he’s absolutely class, but I don’t think he’ll get a job at a much bigger club than us.

Eddie's stock has risen with his time at Newcastle so I have no doubt he'll get another top job.  But just sometime a managers time comes to a natural conclusion at a club and it just feels like we are there with Eddie.  The performance yesterday shocked me how bad it was - something just isn't right.  We are a million miles away from the team we saw in 22/23.

Liverpool would be mad to not appoint him if were to become available.  He's defied expectations here in the main.  Conducts himself well, extremely professional.

And aside from that he has tried to sign a fair amount of their players in the past.

He’s never really done well when he’s on the front foot. I don’t think you could sell his style of play to Liverpool or their fans.

I think you're overestimating his stock tbh.

Because we aren't doing well at the minute it's easy to marginalise what he's actually achieved here.  I get it.

But that statement is totally wrong.

Even last year look at our games against the non top 6 or fodder. He’s always done well when the underdog but play a solid mid table team and he’s struggled.

An intelligent, young, hardworking, articulate, English, cup winning manager, who gets the very best out of his players and plays front footed football, would be of interest to many top teams.

Howe has been brilliant for us, no doubt whatsoever. His main quality is improving poor or average players with thorough coaching. Think Miggy, Longstaff, Burn, Murphy, Joelinton, Krafth and loads of others. I'm less sure he can do that with top or elite players. Especially when those top teams are in Europe every season and making latter stages of the domestic cups. So playing the dreaded two games per week.

Howe will get a top job somewhere..Kompany was relegated with Burnley and jumped straight into the Bayern job.

Its gotten stale here though

I can see either a mass clear out including all of Howes favourites( Pope, Willock, Murphy, Burn) or Howe will end up going

You can literally say the same about ANY manager in the world right now. Look at some of the losses Man Utd, Arsenal, Man City, Chelsea etc have had this year.

It's a competitive league, on their day any team can beat anyone.  That's why the PL is the most watched league in the world.

Wolves beat Arsenal a few weeks ago.

We finished in Champions League that year.  So he couldn't have done that badly.

I’m not saying that, I’m saying I just don’t think he’s good enough for Liverpool. Where the expectation is to challenge for every trophy and at least win one each season.

He has improved pretty much everyone.

Even managed to get Joelinton caps for Brazil.

How many players are rated at or close to £100 million now?

Wasn't that way when he walked in.

He won a cup against Liverpool just last season.

With a team with a budget a 1/4 of the size of Liverpool.

He will be fine there.

lol the Howe FC masks slips further. There isn’t much better than Newcastle. No way he goes to an elite CL side

He’s a brilliant coach and very very eloquent but he ain’t half painted himself into a corner with this team. Too many of his favourites have been allowed to linger on and have unfortunately acted as ballast this year pulling us down. Unfortunately that has been paired with a toxic atmosphere that seems to be a hangover from the Isak saga. We folded, simple as that. We showed our other “elite players” the blueprint for fucking off and it’s already looking like a fair few are starting the same dance. A fair bit of that lands on Howes doorstep. He replaced Isak with a fair bit of shite and it’s cost us dearly.

That comment about not gonna be around for the new training ground was a bit of giveaway,Has any of the press asked him if he wants to be here next season?

Its like the players know he's goin and nobody cares now.
