We were really good for the first 30 and in control. Fell apart after that but think that’s more down to players getting tired and losing their composure as opposed to tactical instructions.

Tired after 30 mins ?

Almost as if they're not supreme athletes

City are insanely good. I’ve got no issue with us losing to them. Same with Barca next week. Howe shouldn’t really be judged on games against teams that are clearly miles ahead of us.

The two points combined from West Ham (a), Brentford (a), Spurs (h), Sunderland (a), Wolves (a), Brentford (h) and Everton (h), on the other hand…

I’m not having that as an excuse - he tactically gets it wrong too many times - using tiredness gives him an easy way out

Almost as if we’ve been playing two games a week with lots of injuries for as long as I can remember and had a huge effort on Wednesday when man down for the majority of that match.

He won’t have that worry much longer.

Was there something wrong with the tactics on the first 30?

It’s a 90 minute game - let’s give him a framed certificate of achievement for this first 30 mins

Did Man C take control of the midfield after 25 mins? Did he do anything to address this?

I mean they’ve objectively been phenomenal in this game since 30 minutes.

Felt inevitable after Wednesday, the ref shafted us. The only saving grace is no extra time tonight.

This probably blows your mind but fatigue is cumulative, not just this one match.

Would be class if everyone could just reset to full energy levels after every match, could’ve started Joelinton and Gordon here without a worry.
