Budget gone on 1 player net spend in the black again ...guess who wins again

Oh and fucking Charnley dealing with transfers is like asking Stevie wonder to perform brain surgery

We know what we need, we are working hard, want 5/6 ideally

          |

Working through the night

          |

  Optimistic

          |

  Hopeful of 3/4

          |

  Still hopeful

          |

Cautiously optimistic

          |

Working hard on 1 or 2

          |

Doing all we can to get players over the line

          |

Going to the wire but have irons in the fire

          |

Disappointed but we believe in the players we have.

Just missed the last minute “bid” for whichever player we have no chance of buying

Yet reading comments from around the country we should be thankful for an owner splashing out 40million on a forward and we don’t know we are born  :whatdidido:

Bruce when he signed Axel Tuanzebe for Villa

“He’s got all the ingredients of a modern day player – he’s quick, strong and powerful,” the Newcastle head coach told Aston Villa’s official website at the time.

“He can play anywhere in midfield and anywhere at the back."

Makes more sense.

Howe is spending a fair bit of money

Billing 15 mil,

Brooks 11 mill,

Lerma 25 mill,

Solanke 17 mill,

Mepham 12 mill,

Lloyd Kelly 13 mil,

Ake 20 mill,

Ibe 15 million all in past 2 season

:shifty:

Surely we won’t keep hearing the pundits say it’s a miracle that he keeps them up?

Find me a quote from the last two seasons saying that its a miracle that Eddie Howe keeps Bournemouth up

Mindblowing thoughts from Mark, there.

You say that as if there isn't a siginificant amount of our fanbase that needs reminding of what Ashley is like, or how much we've really spent.

Bruce when he signed Axel Tuanzebe for Villa

“He’s got all the ingredients of a modern day player – he’s quick, strong and powerful,”

Bruce when he signed Joelinton for Newcastle:

“He’s got everything that a modern-day player wants. He’s big, strong and athletic,"

Footballing talent, skill and flair can go whistle for Brucey. Give him a team of big strong grafting lads.

 Nicely done. We know all of this transfer business is a moveable feast anyway.

Just a few days left 5 players gone plus most of the goals ... 1 player in leopards never change their spots... disaster awaits until our local hero Mike lends us more money to get back up ... what a bloke ... parachute man strikes again. But of course Brucie is one of us so get behind him lads coz Rafa was a fraud

Even if we do get another couple in (very debatable) they'll have absolutely no time to settle in with the club / city / players / coaching staff / system before being chucked into a premier league game. Just horrendous mismanagement once again.

It's amazing how much I dislike Bruce already, and the season hasn't even kicked off. The potato headed cunt was a dinosaur in 2009 ffs.

Every year/summer they do this to us .. Rafa must have had the patience of a saint dealing with these c*nts

He fully deserves his holiday in China after having to deal with these cunts.

Only went for the money. Took the soft option.

Money first

Rafa second

NUFC third

It’s disgusting the way they go on.

I know that because of the nature of deals and the domino means you can’t get all your deals done early as possible, but we literally get none of our deals done early. Everything is the last minute. It’s all because we play a game of chicken where we set a price and do not go above it. They even said Almiron came because Atlanta blinked, and that was only because they had too because they had too many players earning above the MLS wage cap.

The Joelinton deal has been financed largely down to Perez leaving, as well a Joselu, and the remainder will be paid for by those who went out and bought a Joelinton 9 shirt.
